Occupational Therapists

Occupational therapists are graduates of an accredited program with a Baccalaureate degree in occupational therapy. They have six months experience in an acute, skilled, or rehab setting and have a current unrestricted license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania and a current CPR certification. Occupational therapists develop a plan of care to instruct and engage patients in therapeutic activities that are directed toward improving independence with household management routines and activities of daily living. They instruct patients in the use of prosthetic, orthotic, and assistive devices.
